How to Submit Material Photos Please email your photos in .JPG format. To submit photos by mail, send the original photo or a very good reproduction in order for us to prepare them properly for printing. Photocopies of photos cannot be used. We'll scan your photo and return the original to you within 5 days. Primarily that includes Benton, Camden, Dallas, Hickory, Laclede, and St. Clair Counties at this time. Click here to see a map of the area we cover. Typewritten material is preferred, but we have accepted and published handwritten material on napkins. Photocopy stories from your family genealogy books, dig up dusty old manuscripts and letters that your great-grandparents wrote long ago or call us and just tell us the story. All that matters to us is that either the author or the story is in our coverage area and that it's as true as one can recall.
